GPOYW - New Job Edition!
That’s right! My husband offially got a new job!
It’s kind of a big deal to me that it is at Lowe’s. I can’t explain it but my dad worked at Lowe’s for over 20 years. He worked his way up from the warehouse all the way to store manager. I grew up in Lowe’s and have many memories from there. It’s kind of like my husband is following in my dads footsteps. I’m not saying he is going to work forever at Lowe’s like my dad did, but it’s still kinda cool. I am behind whatever direction River chooses to go to in the future, but I am just thankful he thinks with both his head and his heart and puts his family first.
Also, I’M MAKING IT WITH A LOWE’S STUD!
(I use to have a t-shirt when I was little that said “I made it with a Lowe’s stud”. I SO wish that I had one of those now - considering at this age it takes on a total different meaning for me then it did when I was 5 years old LOL)

@HelloNurse’s Mom.
She was my moms best friend. I went over to her house last night to get some books for a paper I am working on for school and I was doing some catching up with her. Sometimes talking to her is like having part of my mom right there with me and I really love that.
My mom may have passed away almost 9 years ago, but she made sure that both my sister and I had another mother figure around who we feel we can talk to about anything and who we can confide in. I feel pretty lucky and blessed to have her in my life and very thankful.
was from Scotland. he was an Army officer, colonizer and a land agent. he took 500 people to Nova Scotia to settle.
he’s on wikipedia and in the Dictionary of Canadian Biography.
i think that’s pretty fuckin’ cool.
:o)
I love your family! :o)
